VO.S.R.x (axial wall reversible fan)

Intended use

Axial reversible fans type VO.S.R.x are designed for installation of dryers, but are also used in the ventilation of buildings, shops, offices, cafes, warehouses, garages, halls, greenhouses, in agriculture, agriculture and industry. They are installed in places where it is necessary to periodically change the direction of the transported fluid. This is done by changing the direction of rotation of the electric motor by means of a starting apparatus. They are used to transfer large air flows at a relatively low pressure drop. They can be mounted on walls or panels.

Operating conditions

Axial reversible type VO.S.R.x fans can transport air mixtures, which are:

• non-aggressive
• clean or slightly dusty
• without sticky and fibrous materials
• with relative humidity up to 95%
• temperature of the transported fluid: - 20 °C (253.16 K) to + 60 °C (333.16 K)
• ambient temperature: - 20 °C (253.16 K) to + 40 °C (313.16 K)

• Impeller made of steel. Statically and dynamically balanced as one unit with class G6.3 in accordance with BDS ISO 21940-11

‍ATEX execution

ATEX explosion proof fans are designed to operate in areas with potentially explosive atmospheres. They are designed for ventilation in explosive environments and to avoid explosions in the presence of flammable gases, conductive and non-conductive dust. These fans have been developed and certified in accordance with the Regulation on Essential Requirements and Conformity Assessment of Equipment and Protection Systems Intended for Operation in Potentially Explosive Atmospheres, implementing Directive 2014/34/EU (ATEX) which sets safety standards for work in potentially explosive environments. They are used for ventilation of rooms with batteries, boiler rooms, oil production facilities, laboratorie, etc.

They are suitable for:

• mills, silos and grain warehouses
• production/warehouses for chemicals, alkyd paints, varnishes
• production/storages for explosive products, weapons and ammunition
• refineries and fuel depots
• woodworking enterprises

Fans type VO.S.R.x Ex have explosion protection according to BDS EN 14986, BDS EN ISO 80079-36, BDS EN ISO 80079-37 and BDS EN 60079-0. They are designed for installation in hazardous areas according to BDS EN 1127-1:

• for gas/vapour or mist: zone 1 (category 2G), zone 2 (category 3G)
• for combustible dust: zone 21 (category 2D), zone 22 (category 3D)
