Laser Cutting

Laser cutting

Laser cutting allows production of various in size, complexity and design elements from metal or sheet metal. Machined surface has sharp cut edges and corners of the workpiece, as well as very accurate contours.

We work according to customer's drawings or with those drawn up by our engineers. Price is formed depending on the kind of material, thickness of the sheet, dimensions of the workpieces and their quantity.

The MSF 3001.15L fiber laser cutting machine is equipped with two movable worktables with dimensions of 1500 x 3000 mm.

Maximum cutting thicknesses for different materials are:

Mild steel and construction steel up to 15 mm
Stainless steel up to 10 mm
Aluminum and aluminum alloys up to 3 mm
Copper and copper alloys up to 3 mm

Plasma cutting

Process of plasma cutting is a thermal cutting method. The plasma arc can cut a very wide range of electrically conductive alloys, including common carbon and stainless steels, aluminum and its alloys, nickel alloys and titanium. Initially, the method was developed for cutting on materials that could not be cut satisfactorily by an oxy-fuel process.

The disadvantage of plasma cutting is that it results in a wider notch. Plasma cutting can lead to the formation of slag or re-solidified metal at the lower edge of the cut, beveling of the cut and tapering of the holes.

KOVENT-KLIMA OOD has a digital-program cutting machine with a Hypertherm HSD130 plasma source and performs plasma cutting of details up to 1500 x 3000 mm with a positioning accuracy of 0.1 mm.

Maximum cutting thicknesses for different materials are:

Black and tool steel up to 30 mm

Bending Machine

Bending

Metal bending is a process in which metal is deformed when a force is applied to the object, causing it to bend at an angle and form the expected shape.

The difference between Press-brake bending (bending of metal sheets at an angle) and Roll bending (bending of metal sheets at a radius) is the radius of curvature.

Guillotine Slitting Machine

Guillotine cutting

The cheapest and most cost-effective method of cutting and shaping sheet metal is guillotine cutting. It is used to produce details and blanks with straight sides and different shapes – rectangles, triangles, squares, etc.

Guillotine cutting with numerical program control is recommended for sheet material that should be precisely and inexpensively cut. Our BAYKAL RGS 2060 x 4 electromechanical guillotine guarantees precision and cut quality.

The material required for the execution of the order can be provided by the customer or by KOVENT-KLIMA OOD.

Stamping

Stamping is a type of cold forming process that is widely used in the metal forming industry and other tasks that require high force. Hydraulic presses are extremely functional and capable of meeting the needs of most industrial environments.

Precision sheet metal stamping is a highly efficient solution suitable for mass production, providing high-quality metal parts for aerospace, automotive, medical equipment, electronics, industrial and urban infrastructure. We have a double-acting hydraulic deep drawing press ELMALI EHSP-250.

Balancing

Balancing machines are used to balance rotating machine parts such as rotors for electric motors, impellers of fans and pumps, turbines, disc brakes, disc drives, propellers, pumps, spindles, gears and others.

Well-balanced parts increase the service life and reduce vibration levels of machines. They improve the speed, performance and efficiency of the machines they are installed on.

The balance machine HM 30, manufactured by the SCHENCK company, is combined with a measuring device CAB 820, ensuring high accuracy of dynamic balance.

Field balancing

The SMARTBALANCER provides extensive possibilities for field balancing. With this device, rotors of almost any size and weight can be balanced quickly, cost-effectively and accurately, in the installed state and therefore without having to disassemble the machine.

Welding

Welding is a process through which a monolithic joint is obtained from welded parts. Between the welded parts, atomic-molecular bonds are obtained, ensuring the continuity of the structure in the weld zone.

KOVENT-KLIMA OOD has MIG/MAG welding machines, as well as a spot welding machine. The price is determined individually for each order.
